NOTE: Installing this driver may introduce the following problem o
Pavilion 83xx systems with DVD. The CD tray may pop open again whe
the CD eject button on the multimedia keyboard is used to open an
close the drawer on the DVD drive. (Using the DVD-ROM's ejec
button to retract the empty try does not cause this problem) NOTE
This update works with the original or updated DVD driver for th
83xx. During the installation of this update, the revision of DV
player is checked, and the appropriate keyboard files ar
installed. If you install this update on a Pavilion with th
original DVD player software, then upgrade your DVD player t
version 1.22 which can be found on the HP Customer Care website a
DVD122.exe. (You will need to REINSTALL this update so the correc
DVD control files can be installed
