Presario/Evo models listed below with a 68P4w Family ROM. The RO
Family and ROM date can be determined by running the Setup Utilit
by pressing F10 on the target computer during system power on o
the computer, and viewing File/System Information.
ENHANCEMENTS
IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHIL
PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE!
HOW TO USE

HOW TO USE
- 1. Download the SoftPaq to
temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. The file downloade
is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on th
SoftPaq Number above.
- 2. From that drive and directory
execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instruction
to create the bootable BIOS update diskette.
- 3. With BIOS update diskette inserted
reboot the system to perform BIOS upgrade.
- 4. After the system has been shutdown
you may delete all temporary files and the SoftPaq file downloade
in step 1.
