HOW TO USE
  1. 1. Download the SoftPaq to
    temporary, empty directory on your hard drive.The file downloade
    is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on theSoftPa
    Number above.
  1. 2. From that drive and directory
    execute the downloaded fileand follow the on-scree
    instructions.
  1. 3. After the diskette has bee
    created, you may delete theSoftPaq file downloaded in Step 2.
  1. 4. Turn off the computer.
  1. 5. Place the newly created Compa
    Presario 900xx/­Evo 1005v,N1015v ROMPaq Diskette in Drive A:and tur
    on the computer.
Note: For users that do not have a floppy drive build-in
please use USB floppy to perform new firmware update.To enable US
floppy boot, please follow instructions below
  1. 1. Turn on the system and press F.1
    to get to F.10 setup.
  1. 2. In the advance section->selec
    USB BIOS Lagacy support and Enable it.
  1. 3. Save F10 and exit.
  1. 4. System is now booting from US
    floppy.
