multifunction device it CANNOT BE DOWNGRADED to a firmware versio
earlier than 20120119 48.241.2.
Note: This version onwards a new field 'Authentication/Security
which has been added to classify embedded authentication an
security-related enhancements and fixes. These were classifie
under 'Base product' in the earlier revisions.

with the device, in one convenient download file. When the Remot
Firmware Upgrade file is sent to the HP LaserJet Printer firmwar
for the engine, all connected accessories are upgraded.

Similar to Hewlett Packard providing improved software for your H
LaserJet Printer, Hewlett Packard provides firmware updates fo
your printer periodically through its supported lifecycle.

benefit from the resolution of any issue that is documented below

Determining the current version level of your firmware
To determine the current level of firmware installed on th
device:
1. Go to the printer's or MFP's control panel.
2. Press the Administration Icon on the touch screen.
3. Select INFORMATION on the touch screen.
4. Select CONFIGURATION/STATUS PAGES.
5. Select CONFIGURATION PAGE.
6. Select Print.
On the printed CONFIGURATION page look in the section marke
"Device Information" for the firmware date code. The firmware dat
code will look something like this: 20040322 07.000.0
